Dr. Michael Sanders is the first dentist in Alaska who is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. This is the highest designation of competence in implant dentistry, designating that the dentist has demonstrated significant knowledge, ability, and proficiency in implant dentistry throughout a rigorous education and examination process. Michael Sanders, DMD, DICOI, DABOI
Dr. Michael Sanders grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, playing hockey, soccer and developing a love of Alaska and the great outdoors. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Alaska, Anchorage and then traveled to Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine to obtain his DMD degree. Dr. Sanders graduated magna cum laude in 2001 and then accepted a residency in advanced dentistry with the US Army. Dr. Sanders gained extensive training in all facets of dentistry including cosmetics, implantology and surgical procedures during this intensive residency. Upon completion of the program, Dr. Sanders was stationed at Fort Wainwright in his hometown of Fairbanks. Dr. Sanders continued to obtain advanced dental education and experience and used every bit of his training when he was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom. After completion of his military obligation, Dr. Sanders and his family moved back to his wife’s hometown of Eagle River where he currently maintains his private practice.
Dr. Sanders has dedicated himself to excellence in his work and continues to receive advanced training in restorative, preventative and cosmetic dentistry as well as implantology and advanced oral surgical procedures. He has trained with some of the leaders in their respective fields throughout the country. He received his Fellowship from the prestigious California Implant Institute in 2010, and he maintains active memberships with the following organizations:

In his free time, Dr. Sanders enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, whom he married in 1993, and their three very active children. Dr. Sanders also coaches several youth soccer teams, enjoys white water rafting trips, fly-fishing, hunting and downhill skiing.
Michael Fuller, DDS, FICOI
Dr. Michael Fuller, FICOI, began dental school at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco, California, in 1975. Upon graduation, in 1978, he entered the Air Force Dental Service and served in active duty until 1986. He remained serving as a dentist in the Air Force Reserve until reaching retirement as a Lt. Colonel in 1996. In addition to being licensed in Alaska, he has license to practice dentistry in Wyoming and South Dakota.
Dr. Fuller moved to Eagle River with the Air Force in 1982. Upon separation from active duty service, he began a private general practice locally in 1986. He practiced in Eagle River until he sold his practice in 2005. He holds membership in the American Academy of Implant certification and membership in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He attended and graduated from the L.D. Pankey Institute continuum studies from 1989 until 1995 and has been a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry since 1999. He also served on the Anchorage Dental Society Peer Review Committee since 1991; reviewing, mediating and arbitrating cases brought before the committee. Dr. Fuller has been married to his wife, Barb, for thirty-three years. They have two daughters, Kelsey and Jamie. Both girls work in the healthcare field.
Alfred Land III, DMD
Dr. Alfred M. Land III, a general dentist with 31 years of experience, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon, in Eugene, in 1980. He graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon, in 1984, and is extensively involved in continuing education, with over 750 hours completed since 1990.He served six years in the United States Navy as a Naval Dental Officer. Stationed in Lemoore, California; Adak, Alaska; Bremerton, Washington; and Guam, M.I. Dr. Land returned to Alaska in 1990 and began private practice in Wasilla to then opening his Eagle River office in 1997.
Dr. Land grew up in Central Oregon and attended both Junior and Senior High School in Bend, OR. He maintains memberships in many professional organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry. His interests include photography, fishing, shooting sports, and touring motorcycles, as well as classic and performance cars.

Alfred M. Land IV, DMD
Dr. Alfred Land IV was born in Springfield, Oregon, and grew up in Eagle River, Alaska. He spent time enjoying the outdoors through fishing and hiking. He attended Chugiak High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in natural sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Dr. Land then attended Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, where he received his DMD.
Dr. Land is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and extensively involved in continuing education. Him, and his wife Heather, love the outdoors, spending their free time hiking, fishing, camping, and cycling. They are also involved in the Great Dane Club of Alaska with their Dane, Vardiman. They have two wonderful children.
Richard E. Mounce, DDS – Endodontist
Dr. Richard Mounce is originally from Portland, Oregon. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Santa Clara. He attended Northwestern Dental School for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating in 1985, before earning his Certificate in Endodontics from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1991. Dr. Mounce is a member of the American Association of Endodontics.
He is widely published in dental trade magazines and has lectured globally. Dr. Mounce is widely sought out as an expert witness in dental malpractice claims.
Kelsey Quick, DDS
Dr. Kelsey Quick grew up in Missouri. She attended theUniversity of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) for undergrad, thencontinued east to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Quick was commissioned into Active Duty for the U.S. Army and was accepted into a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. It was during this rigorous residency that Dr. Quick gained extensive training in all aspects of dentistry under some of the best dental specialists in the country. Following her residency, Dr. Quick attended Airborne School and was stationed as the sole Brigade Dentist at JBER.
Dr. Quick knows the importance of staying up-to-date in the dental field and loves participating in Continuing Education. She maintains memberships in several national dental societies and enjoys learning and implementing new technologies and techniques into the practice. In addition, Dr. Quick is happy to offer clear aligner therapy to her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Quick enjoys spending time with her husband, Garrett, their awesome daughter, and their beloved Black Lab. Dr. Quick can often be found enjoying the Great Outdoors, including hiking, foraging for berries, gardening, and snow sports.
